Snoots is a members-only clinic offering unlimited primary medical treatment for your pets any time they need it. Our fixed-fee membership differs from pet insurance providers who often impose yearly caps and fees for multiple claims, plus traditional veterinary practices who charge for each visit. Instead, we offer guaranteed, unrestricted treatment and prioritise preventative care for pets managing allergies and chronic illnesses that require ongoing management.
Our stylish, contemporary clinic currently operates from Islington but we hope to add new locations in the future to meet the rapidly growing demand.
After scheduling your appointment, you’ll have the option to become a member. This starts with a one-year commitment, transitioning to a convenient one-month rolling contract thereafter, allowing you the flexibility to cancel at any time.
Our membership fee is £33/month regardless of pet, breed, or size. This includes all visits and vaccinations, neutering, travel certificates, and most diagnostics. Regular diagnostics and weigh-ins are particularly crucial for pets with chronic pain, enabling us to detect any changes in their health status before symptoms become evident.
Early detection of these changes can significantly improve your pet's quality of life and prevent more serious health issues, highlighting the importance of unlimited diagnostic treatment for chronic illnesses.
Additionally, pets suffering from allergies often require monthly appointments, which are included in the membership, saving on the cost of a typical London consultation, which can start at £60. Testing through various blood work helps identify specific triggers for reactions, allowing us to provide the most appropriate treatment. Advice regarding food trials to rule out allergens is also included in the membership for a comprehensive medical assessment.
In the case of allergies, treatment may include oral medication, topical creams, and immunotherapy, which is why access to affordable medical care is so important. Our Snoots Vets’ members-only pharmacy offers prices that are on average 50-100% cheaper than other vets in London.
The term ‘chronic’ means something that persists for a long time. For domestic cats and dogs, some common chronic illnesses include musculoskeletal conditions like hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis, and metabolic conditions like chronic kidney disease and hyperthyroidism; both of which require constant monitoring through bloodwork, weigh-ins, and parenteral (injectable) medicines.
Chronic illnesses can be traumatic for both pet and owner alike, as they often entail a long-term commitment to managing symptoms and maintaining a good quality of life. For pets, coping with a chronic condition can involve enduring discomfort, restricted mobility, or the need for regular medication administration.

These allergies can have a significant impact on the affected pets and their owners. Pets with allergies often exhibit symptoms such as incessant scratching, licking, or chewing at their skin, leading to hair loss, sores, and secondary infections. Chronic itching and discomfort can affect their quality of life, causing distress and sleep disturbances. This is equally distressing for the owner, who also needs to manage the financial burden with repeated vet visits, diagnostic tests, and ongoing treatment.
Treating allergies in dogs and cats requires a comprehensive approach, including identifying and addressing underlying causes like environmental or food allergens. Symptomatic relief involves medications such as antihistamines or corticosteroids to alleviate itching and inflammation. Allergen-specific immunotherapy may be recommended for long-term management. Regular monitoring is crucial for assessing the effectiveness of the treatment and adjusting the management plan.
Allergies are a relatively common issue for both dogs and cats and can manifest in various forms, ranging from skin irritation to gastrointestinal upset. Among the most prevalent allergies are flea allergy dermatitis, triggered by the saliva of fleas during bites, and food allergies, which can develop over time and result in adverse reactions to certain ingredients in their diet. Environmental allergies, such as pollen, dust mites, or grass, are also culprits, causing allergic reactions known as atopy.
